AMISS AT WINGS 2025 FASHION FESTIVAL

SHOW VISUALS

AMISS had their first runway show in May 2025. The show was incredibly conceptual, every piece has its own mind, but all move toward a singular outcome. As in nature things grow apart until they converge to create something bigger. There are strong ties to nature and the chaos and calm of the natural world that inspired the designs by Vanessa and Joshua Gray.

The show was fully immersive which went beyond the designs to amazing production design of the stage by Annika Kumar and the use of large LED screens projecting artistic and abstract visuals that tied into the narrative. I worked with an incredible team to produce these visuals and create another layer to the experience of the show.

Being a huge milestone for the brand diving into such a meaningful concept, I concepted and directed a documentary about the show coming together which is currently in post-production. In this piece we are telling the story of an emerging designer who moves with intention and hustle. She is not only executing beautiful work but an elaborate concept and experience the encapsulate the designs. This has been done in a short amount of time but made possible by the incredible teams of creatives that truly believe in the vision and approach of this designer, Vanessa. She is doing things differently, she is rebelling against archaic modes of mainstream fashion and carving her own path. Albeit and ambitious path, and this being her most ambitious venture yet.
